The two-day Film Literacy Programme, organized by SamuhTech Private Limited, was successfully conducted on 8th and 9th August 2026. The programme brought together students from different schools across Thimphu Valley, providing them with an engaging platform to explore the fundamentals of film literacy and develop a deeper understanding of films as a medium of communication, creativity, and learning.
A total of 30 students along with an escort teacher from Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School actively participated in the programme alongside students from other schools. Throughout the two days, the participants were given opportunities to engage in learning experiences designed to enhance their awareness, creativity, critical thinking, and appreciation of visual storytelling.
The programme also provided students with an opportunity to interact and collaborate with peers from different schools, encouraging the sharing of ideas and experiences in a supportive learning environment. Such programmes contribute significantly to broadening students’ learning beyond the classroom and nurturing their creative and analytical skills.
The programme concluded successfully on 9th August 2026, with all participating students from Khasadrapchu MSS safely dropped back at the school. The school appreciates SamuhTech Private Limited for organizing this enriching programme and providing students with a valuable opportunity to learn, create, and experience film literacy in an engaging environment.
