Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School successfully conducted an Earthquake Mock Drill on 29th May 2028 to enhance disaster preparedness and safety awareness among students and staff. The drill was attended by all students from ECCD and PP-X, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff members. During the exercise, participants practiced the standard safety procedures of “Drop, Cover, and Hold On” and followed the designated evacuation routes to reach safe assembly ground. The activity was carried out in an orderly manner under the guidance of the school disaster management team.
Earthquake mock drills play a vital role in educating students and staff on how to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies. Such drills help reduce panic, improve preparedness, and build confidence in handling real-life disaster situations. They also promote a culture of safety and responsibility within the school community. The successful completion of the drill reflects the school’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners and staff.
