Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School observed World Environment Day 2026 on 4 June 2026 under the theme “Acting Now for Climate Action.” The event was organized as a tribute to Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen on Her Birthday and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.
The celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff members in a collective effort to raise awareness about climate change and promote sustainable environmental practices. Various awareness displays highlighted practical actions that everyone can take to protect the environment. These included reducing plastic waste through reuse and recycling, creating eco-bricks from discarded plastic materials, and carrying out cleaning campaigns and advocacy programs within the community.
Students actively participated in discussions and awareness activities that emphasized individual and collective responsibility towards safeguarding the environment for future generations.
