The Nazhoen Scouts Boot Camp was successfully conducted on 23rd May 2026 (Saturday) with active participation from 380 students of classes VII to X. The camp was facilitated by five dedicated Leadership Scouts who guided and trained the participants throughout the programme. The event aimed to strengthen discipline, teamwork, leadership, and scouting skills among students.
The camp began with basic scout drills where students learned proper marching techniques, commands, and discipline required during scouting activities. Participants were also introduced to daily scout procedures and routines that help develop responsibility, punctuality, and cooperation. The facilitators demonstrated each activity with enthusiasm, making the sessions interactive and engaging.
One of the major highlights of the camp was the first aid training session, where students learned simple techniques to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. The camp also included energetic yells and scouting songs that promoted unity, confidence, and team spirit among participants. In addition, students actively took part in mass aerobics exercises which encouraged physical fitness and active participation.
Overall, the boot camp was informative, enjoyable, and successful in promoting scouting values and practical life skills among students.
