On 21st April 2026, Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samuh Mediatech Private Limited and the Bhutan Film Institute to implement the Pilot School Film Literacy and Creative Industry Awareness Programme. The initiative aims to promote film literacy among students, nurture creativity and storytelling skills, and create awareness about career opportunities in film and related TVET pathways. Through this collaboration, students will benefit from organized film screenings, interactive discussions with filmmakers and industry professionals, basic filmmaking workshops, and a school film festival. The program is designed to support holistic student development through meaningful creative engagement while ensuring that academic learning remains uninterrupted. The partnership also emphasizes child protection, safe learning environments, professional facilitation, and parental consent, reflecting the shared commitment of all parties toward enriching educational experiences and empowering students with 21st-century creative skills.
