On 20 August 2026, Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School conducted an Investiture Ceremony for the new scouts of Class PP. The auspicious occasion marked the formal induction of the youngest members into the Scouting movement, encouraging them to develop values of kindness, responsibility, service, and good citizenship from an early age.
The programme began with the morning assembly, during which the school community sang the National Anthem, followed by the Camp Anthem. The young scouts also participated in the recitation of the Scout Oath and were reminded of the importance of performing a good turn every day, reflecting the fundamental principles and values of Scouting.
The formal ceremony was attended by the Class PP children and their parents. It commenced with the traditional offering of Saang, Serkem, and Thrue-Sel, seeking blessings for the wellbeing and bright future of the children. The Principal then formally invested all Class PP children by awarding them their Scout scarves, officially welcoming them into the school Scouting community.
The ceremony was followed by a cake-cutting programme, accompanied by prayers and best wishes for the children to grow into responsible, kind, and good human beings in the future. The newly invested scouts and their parents were then served cake, juice, and other refreshments, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere for everyone present.
The programme concluded with a photo session to commemorate the special occasion. The School Management and the School Scouts’ Association would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the parents for their valuable support and active participation. Their presence and contributions, including tea, snacks, and juice, greatly contributed to making the ceremony a meaningful and successful event in the school.
