On Tuesday, 12th May 2026, a whole-school vaccination programme was successfully conducted at Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School, Thimphu, by health officials from Gidha Hospital. The vaccination was carried out according to the age groups mandated under the national medical programme, where students of PP received the TD vaccination, Class VI students were administered the HPV vaccination, and Class VII students received the TD vaccination. The programme was coordinated by the Non-Academic Vice Principal and the School Health In-charge in close collaboration with the medical team. Prior information regarding the vaccination schedule was disseminated a day earlier to ensure that all eligible students were present and prepared for the programme.
