The Youth Tech-Novation Foundational Programme was conducted from 18–22 May 2026 at Khasadrapchu Youth Centre. The programme was initiated by the Programme and Youth Coordination Division under the Department of Education Programmes, Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD), with support from UNICEF Bhutan and facilitation by Athang Training Academy. A total of 33 students from Khasadrapchu Middle Secondary School were privileged to participate in the week-long training. The programme provided students with valuable exposure to digital technology and innovation. Through engaging hands-on activities and interactive learning sessions, participants developed foundational knowledge and practical skills in technology. The training enhanced students’ digital literacy, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and critical thinking skills, which are essential competencies in the 21st century. Furthermore, it inspired students to explore innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Overall, the programme served as an academic boost and strengthened students’ readiness for future learning and opportunities in the digital age.
